In December 2000, the Service Excellence Award was established in honor of Ron Yoder, who served as Executive Director of Metropolitan Family Service from 1972 – 1991. This award is presented annually to recognize the contributions of employees who personify Metropolitan Family Service values. 


Ron Yoder presented the awards to this year's Service Excellence Award Winners, Katie Stenstom and Jessica McLaren along Metropolitan Family Service CEO, Judy Strand.
