We promote volunteerism and are rewarded and recharged by the results. We think you will be as well. Get involved. We have 2,000 individuals who share their life skills, talents, and interests as MFS volunteers.

Just a few hours a month to do something for others – and for yourself – can make a significant difference in our community. MFS volunteers work with children, families, and older adults. They participate in ongoing activities as well as occasional events. They volunteer to provide services and they work behind the scenes. They provide academic mentoring, recreational activities, and friendly visiting.

Each year MFS honors more than 1,000 older adults who volunteer in our community through MFS. On May 9, 2006 we recognized volunteers that are engaged in meaningful volunteer work by mentoring children or helping older adults remain as independent as possible.
