Overview

Children and Family Enrichment (CAFE) provides after school classes and activities to promote student success by engaging children and their families.

CAFE provides a safe welcoming environment for students from many cultural backgrounds. CAFE offers students the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Our award winning after school and summer programs offer classes in literacy, reading, writing, drama, art, math and recreation. Students receive a healthy snack & transportation.

CAFE parents are encouraged to participate in their student's education through parenting classes, family events and assistance in accessing school day staff.

The goal of CAFE is to 100% of participating students meet standards in reading, writing, and math.

Parents get involved when they see positive changes in their childs behavior. One family had not attended events at school, but contacted our program coordinator to find ways to participate when their children became more eager to go to school. They said that conversations at home had improved and their children were more willing to talk about their day's experience.

This family is beginning to feel a part of the community and wants to give back.
